8 Hour Diet

You may not know the name David Zinczenko right off the bat but you may have caught him on TV morning shows. Surely you have heard of his Eat This, Not That! books. He was also the chief editor of Men’s Health Magazine.

One of his books, the 8 Hour Diet works on the premise that you eat all your food within an eight hour window and fast for the other sixteen hours per day. There is also the encouragement to exercise eight minutes a day to start burning fat. Now, just eating within the hours doesn’t give license to eat all you can in those eight hours. Be mindful of your portion sizes.

I have tried this and what I have found is that I need to fill up on water and black tea before breakfast in order to stave off hunger a little longer. To start, you can try it for three days and work up to longer.
