View Article  Steve Victor: Time is on Your Side

A hard reality to face is that 65% of Americans weigh too much!  Government research shows that only one-third of adults make a 30 minute goal each day to exercise.

Joe Victor has been blessed with a great metabolism but knows he still needs to watch what he eats and make exercise a priority to stay fit and healthy.  We just have to add it to our daily routine...put it in our calendar if we have to in order to be certain it gets done.

Most people say they are too busy or don't have time. I have often heard my coach, Jody Victor, say "if you want something bad enough, you will make the time to do it."

We gotta remember that our health is 'the most important' thing we have...without your health, nothing else really matters.  Therefore, make exercising a priority in your life. After all, you only get one life!

View Article  Steve Victor: Sleep to Lose

According to the National Sleep Foundation, new research indicates that sleep deprivation increases a hunger hormone and decreases a fullness hormone.  This can lead to overeating and weight gain.  Getting the right amount of sleep your body requires to function properly can help you control your hunger.

It's difficult to sleep at night when you come home from something related to Plan B or after hearing Jody Victor 'live' or on a CD.  Life's in session and you want to participate.

However, the recommended sleep for adults is 7-9 hours each night.  With the busy schedules and hectic lifestyle many families have, this is something that gets overlooked.  We try to fit as much as we can into a day and not worry about how much sleep we actually get.

Bottom line...if you want to lose weight...getting your sleep is necessary.  As Jody Victor says, "Those who fail to plan, plan to fail."

Before you launch into any weight-loss plan, set a realistic goal for yourself.  They suggest aiming for a loss of 10 to 20 pounds.  Decide to make a difference in your life.

Joe Victor and Jody Victor have all decided to make a difference in people's lives.  They all attribute their success in life to their attitude they give off on a daily basis.  As it states on www.markerman.com, a person's attitude can attract or detract...the decision is yours.

One way to help you lose weight is your Attitude.  Jody Victor has told me many times that your attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.  We must conquer our bad eating habits by being consumed with nothing but good.  Positive beats negative all the time.  Find what motivates you to make a change and keep a good attitude about your decision.  Speak weight loss into existence, act as if you are thin.  Remember nothing tastes as good as it feels to be thin.

You can do it!  Begin, Believe, Be Fit!
